I recently wanted to switch to more natural products. I went on YouTube and made my own hair serum as well works great. I just felt like making all of my products would’ve been too much energy so I did some research on flaxseed gel. I ordered this one because it has a polyquat In it, which is good for humidity as I live in San Diego. It also does not have “natural” fragrance which I avoid because those are mostly endocrine disruptors. Also, it doesn’t have glycerin which I definitely don’t need because glycerin causes my hair to frizz up in humid environments. So I felt like I found a really good product. After using it with my hair serum and another flaxseed gel that has a copolymer in it, my hair actually looks the best that it ever has . it’s not frizzy in the humidity and it holds its style. I’m not sure if it’s this gel or the other one or a mixture but overall the cast holds extremely well; well into day three so far. I would recommend this product. I like how it feels when in wet hair, as it makes the hair super smooth and easy to comb through and it doesn’t flake once it dries. For reference I use it on wet hair and I have 3C/4 a hair.

Great product for hair

My hair is loving these products and I am figuring out the best ways to use them to my hair’s best advantage. These might be my holy grail products!

I tried the flaxseed gel and it really defined my curls and gave them more body too. Still figuring out the line between getting the texture I want and ending up too crunchy but very pleased overall
