I had made myself flaxseed gel years ago and liked it but it went rancid quickly and I never did it again. When I saw Miribel Naturals reel making flaxseed gel, I got excited. I use the LUS curl system and my hair seemingly got used to it and stopped responding to it. When I got my gel in the mail, I was on day 2 curls that fell into waves. I spritzed it with water and put gel in, and they went back to curls but felt like nothing was in them! No crunching, no cast. It looks and feels like you have nothing in your hair but it still holds the curls. Magic. I love this stuff.
This is the only gel I have purchased that does not dry my hair or dull my hair color. I plan to be a long-time customer of Miribel.
I started out using the travel sizes so I could try different combinations. My hair is wavy, graying, fine, and frizzy as a rule. I wanted to go naturally wavy and put away my blow dryer and stop flat-ironing my bangs. I settled on: Creamy Hair Cleanser, Dreamy Hair Cream, Silky Smooth Flaxseed Gel. At first I used too much product, but soon realized it didn’t take much (a small pea-sized amount worked for me). I use the products, scrunch and go. I find if I leave my hair alone, it’s happy (finger comb if needed, but no brushing once product is in). I’m happy to find products that are kind to my hair, and successfully tame the frizz!
