My hair falls flat hours after use. I sent an email asking for help using the product. In response, I was asked to send pictures of my hair, which I did. I never received a response.
I ordered a sample to try and will definitely order a full size bottle. Defines my curls and holds them for days. My daughter is a stylist so I’ve tried lots of different brands which I’d course are not clean. So excited to find a natural option that bonus…works even better.
I was glad to be able to order a sample to try first. It’s good product, clean ingredients, and not too many of them. I imagine this will work great for fine hair, but mine is coarse and heavily textured. Anything that draws moisture from the air causes my hair to blow up into giant frizz. This gel seems to do that, while softening my strands enough that I have no hold or control whatsoever. Bold hair with a mind of its own needs strong hold, and so far, only chemically laden products seem to accomplish that. I’m trying to get away from that, so the search continues. If you have less textured (kinky, coily) hair, you will probably love it.
It is so wonderful when a hair line offers an affordable sampler set, and I am tempted to send this one to curly friends. The bottles are a great travel size and are squeezable and refillable, btw. I was surprised that the shampoo had bits in it like a facial scrub, and it worked very well and rinsed right out of my hair. I am experimenting with the 2 creams, using them as conditioner and leave-in and also mixing with the flax gel, which made my hair a little crunchy on its own, but my fine wavy Caucasian hair is very picky and temperamental. I also tried putting the cream over the gel, with good results. My hair loves protein, which is why I love the creams best. I think the Powerhouse protein cream will be my first purchase.
