Our flaxseed gel was designed for curly hair that tends to be on the dry side. This gel will provide a medium hold that will leave curls soft and defined with little to no crunch.
Does the flaxseed gel have fragrance?
You can choose a fragrance free flaxseed gel, or for it to be lightly fragranced with lavender essential oil.
How do I use this flaxseed gel?
The best way to use the flaxseed gel is on wet hair.
If your hair is coarse, or tends to be dry, use the flaxseed gel on very wet hair, after after your styling cream or leave-in conditioner.
If your hair is fine, or gets weighed down easily, you can use the flaxseed gel by itself on damp hair.
If you like lots of hold on your hair, apply the flaxseed gel to wet hair, and then apply an additional layer of flaxseed gel when your hair is damp.

This gel performed really well with my fine hair. Added great shine and the cast was medium. It paired nicely with the protein leave in cream. I am hoping it becomes a new part of the miribel line up.

I’m on my second bottle of the flaxseed gel, it’s a wonderful product w such a natural look. I can usually get 2 days because I work out often and teach classes at a gym, so I am fighting some sweaty frizz usually. But if that’s not your routine you can likely get more days! This order came w a sample of the hard hold gel and I finish w just a small amount after a good dose of the flaxseed. I’m on the subscription plan now because I love it so much!!! I’m using the lavender scent too and it’s fresh and not heavy at all if you’re considering.

The past few years I have struggled with finding the right product to help my curls. Some are sticky and need to be washed out the next day, others are waxy and feel terrible. So far I am loving the Silky Smooth Flaxseed Gel; it is not sticky and it (so far and today is high, high MD humidity) is taming frizz brought on by the humidity. I can mist with water for second day curls, something I desperately love, making my mornings a bit easier.
When I run out of my current shampoo and conditioner, I am going to give Mirabel a try for the full routine.

I have fine wavy/curly hair and all of the Miribel formulas that I’ve tried work really well. The flaxseed gel is a great styling product for really humid days and the volumizing foam is wonderful for normal days. You don’t need to use a huge amount because they are concentrated. I’m very happy with Miribel products and I like the fact that they come from a small business in the USA.
