So I have one negative that kept me from rating these products 5 stars but plenty positive. I’ll say, it’s been difficult trying to find clean natural products for my frizzy, highly porous and curly hair without coconut oil- it breaks out my skin. Maribel Naturals checked all my boxes for ingredients and I was also delighted by the free gifts that were added to my order. But alas I’m slightly disappointed that the leave-in conditioner doesn’t make my hair as detangled and smooth as I was hoping it would. Yet I am impressed by how well these products add body, tame frizz and define my curls when used together. I’m still just beginning to use the products and playing with ratios that work best for my hair but as for now I can report that it leaves more of a cast/textured feeling that isn’t awful but not what I expected. Also would like to mention that an unanticipated perk I’ve noticed to this textured quality is that it gives more immediate hold for styling hair into any updos or braids.

Best hair gel. Not stiff or sticky. The only hair gel that doesn’t irritate my extremely sensitive scalp.
I have been using the LUS system and was looking for something more natural. I love the dreamy cream and flax gel. I put the cream on 1st for some moisture then the flax gel. I have great curls that reform if I wet my hair in the morning.
