I’m really impressed with the extra hold flaxseed gel. It is so hard to find a good gel without glycerin. It’s a perfect combo of a film forming humectant with the vp/va Copolymer, pvp, and a polyquat. I love that it’s a simple recipe without unnecessary additives. The gel really helps define my curls and somehow increases the curliness and bounce!
I have been a user of the Silky Smooth Flaxseed Gel for years, this new Extra Hold is on another level. The hold is incredible, it mixes well with my current products too. I actually started mixing the silky and the extra hold for my own concoction that gives my waves and curls 3 days of hold. Incredible again, Jackie!!
This gel gives me the most beautiful curls and leaves my hair moisturized. I would love a larger bottle with a pump!
I use this after a curl solution and a medium hold gel. It works great with brush styling, plenty of slip. I love the results every time I do this routine. Definitely will be buying again.
Adds body and control, holds curl in my 2A hair that i thought was thin and straight (but curly when wet). I bought a sample size, and will be purchasing full size item .
