I don’t use gel a lot, but this one is nice. Decent hold, not too crunchy.
I recently tried the silky smooth flaxseed gel after my favorite curl gel was discontinued, and I ended up liking it even better than my tried and true product! It has great slip, doesn't weigh down my hair (which is on the finer side), but keeps my curls defined for longer than anything else I've tried. It does leave my hair a little softer and less grippy than I prefer, so I'm going to try the extra hold gel next.
Unfortunately the hair gel isn't helping to define my curls. It seems to make my hair frizzy.
I tried both products and both made my low porosity hair fuzzy. I tried it in different weather, alone and with other products. Not for me.
