My hair skin and nails are extremely dry. I also live in a semi arid state with really hard water, so I only wash my hair once a week. I found the extra hold to be too much. It made my hair feel dirty fast. The silky on the other hand I love. My hair looks good for about 3 days, then instead of soaking wet hair to refresh like other products... (which I might as well wash if I'm soaking my head) I can dampen and lightly reapply and It looks great again.
I finally found it! The perfect gel for my curls. I have very thick black curly hair. Most gels will flake off and make a white cast in my hair. This one does not. Also most gel will only last 1 day and then my hair is all frizzy and messy. This gel I can finally not wash my hair and still have curls for at least 3 or 4 days. I love it.
I've made my own flax gel for years and this works just as well and is a great time saver. I appreciate the simple ingredients. The whole family uses it and we have locs.
I pretty much try anything and feel most are the same.
This I love! Works great, with great hold, no crunch, doesn’t leave me with a wet look yet hair is shiny.
